Dream Library

Dream Library Health Disclaimer

Dream Library is a wellness and entertainment app. It is not a medical device, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition, including insomnia, anxiety, PTSD, or any other sleep or mental health condition.

The sleep-science research Dream Library draws on — including targeted dream incubation (TDI), targeted memory reactivation (TMR), and imagery rehearsal therapy (IRT) principles — supports the app's design for general wellness use. It does not establish Dream Library as a clinical or medical treatment, and using the app is not a substitute for professional medical or mental health care.

Nightmare Rewrite, one of Dream Library's content categories, uses imagery-rehearsal and sound-cue techniques that may help reduce nightmare frequency when practiced consistently, based on published research in this area. This is offered as a wellness feature only — it is not a clinical treatment, and results vary by individual.

If you experience frequent or distressing nightmares, ongoing sleep disturbances, or symptoms of a sleep or mental health condition, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. Dream Library is not designed to address these concerns on its own.

Thrill content (18+): The Thrill category contains horror-toned audio and narration. It is not suitable for anyone with a history of trauma-related sleep disturbance without professional guidance. Before accessing Thrill content, Dream Library presents a brief 3-question screening intended to identify and redirect at-risk users away from this category. This screening is a precaution, not a clinical assessment, and does not replace professional evaluation.

If at any point you experience distress, worsening sleep problems, or other negative effects while using Dream Library, please discontinue use and consult a qualified healthcare professional.
